Garden District Condos are a stunning hybrid of old and new. This 32-storey high rise has a heritage that dates back to the 19th century, and it shows. Garden District Condos is about to undergo restoration efforts. GBCA Architects, an award-winning architectural firm specializing in the rehabilitation of heritage buildings, will team up with architectsAlliance to restore the facade of the heritage building on Shuter Street. This will provide the base for the modern high-rise tower. There will be three 2-storey loft townhomes available.

This development is inspired by the style of famous architect Mies van der Rohe, who is regarded as one of the pioneers of modern architecture. The interiors are designed by Dochia Interior Design, and they include ultra-modern finishes.

Upon entering the lobby, the exposed brickwork of the restored heritage feature wall welcomes visitors with a touch of history, which transitions into a more modern aesthetic with inlaid wood walls and marble floors.

If fitness is important to you, you’ll also love the 2-storey gym (located in the heritage portion of the building). The first level is focused on strength training and offers machines, free weights, and boxing bags. On the second floor, you’ll find treadmills, stationary bikes, elliptical machines, a yoga room and stretching area, and an exterior terrace.
